In this course, you will learn about the essential elements of feedback, important communication techniques, and a framework for informal and formal feedback. You’ll also learn some tips for receiving feedback.

This course covers the definition of unconscious bias, the importance of acknowledging and addressing unconscious bias in the workplace and personal settings, how to identify potential biases in personal and workplace settings, how to engage the Five Rs of reducing unconscious bias, and the development of plans and policies to reduce personal and workplace unconscious biases.

In this course you will learn how to: create and send email messages, respond to email messages in different ways, add items to a message, and manage messages.

After completion of this course, you should understand the definition of collaboration, what it takes to work collaboratively with your colleagues and the advantages of collaboration. Obstacles to collaboration will be explored, and how to develop strategies to improve a collaborative work environment. As well, you will know the six steps to make collaboration work, and the difference between collaboration, cooperation and teamwork.
