This course will give you an eight-step process for a difficult conversation, as well as some things to consider when deciding to have the conversation (such as your desired outcome, the time and place, and how to stay safe). You’ll also learn how to speak persuasively, ask good questions, and listen actively.

In this course, you will learn how to plan effectively, build a high-performing team, motivate employees, provide effective feedback, delegate, and manage conflict. You will also receive an introduction to several leadership theories, including John Adair’s action-centered leadership model, Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II® model, and Velsoft’s signature leadership assessment.

This in-depth course will take you through all aspects of project management. First, you will consider what a project is and what a project manager does. Then, you will work through the four stages of the project life cycle: conceptual, planning, execution, and termination. You will also learn some supporting skills, like teamwork, communication, and presentation.
